After is finished my champs and got Martinelli and Casemiro in my red picks, I knew I had to get them in my squad, and while Casemiro had been great this review is all about Gabriel Martinelli. I was planning on doing the saint maximan sbc before getting him but I don’t think that will be happening anymore. This Martinelli has been absolutely incredible for me, with 10 goals and 4 assists in 8 games from LF, massively outperforming tots Kane for me in attack, who is in the centre of my attack. With a deadeye his shots have enough power to destroy the net while still have the accuracy with 99 finishing. He can score any type of shot you try, from any distance it feels, even with only 84 long shots with the deadeye. His dribbling feels silky and is only slightly outperformed by bennacer and maybe abedi pele on my team. He seems to be able to shrug off defenders with ease, and even defend if necessary, and can even put in a great ball into the box if necessary.

overall I’d say Martinelli is an incredible card and if you have the capabilities, you should definitely try him out for a few games.

Note: My starting lineup is in the 4-2-4 formation, but in game I switch to the 4-3-2-1 formation. Important thing is that Martinelli played as a LCF with Hugo Sanchez as RCF and Isak as ST. I used TOTS ASM on Martinelli's spot before trying Martinelli out.

So, where to start with this card...

I would first like to mention that I have the TOTS Moments ASM, yet this player's dribbling simply felt more quick and agile. I dont know what it is, but it just feels better.

Same goes with the shooting, whilst this Martinelli was banging in goals, ASM just dissolved into the background of my two other attackers.

The pace also, this Martinelli feels way faster than that ASM, which quite surprised me too. This guy was running rings around enemy defenders, whilst it always felt like ASM got caught up to quickly whilst doing his runs.

Martinelli's physicality also was excellent, and that 87 physical really felt way, and I mean WAY better compared to what ASM had.

In summary, this card is just a better version of ASM if you aren't into 5 star skill moves, and i'd say the only major lack in this card is that 5 5 or even 5 4. Even so it did not feel like he had only 4 4 so take of that what you will.
